Marie is a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Laser Specialist, and Laser Safety Officer. She started her career in nursing 20 years ago at Sentara Norfolk General's burn/trauma and surgical step-down units. There, she gained a broad knowledge of skin structure, wound care, and healing. She's always had a passion for skincare and skin health and went on to specialize in practice management and medical aesthetics, focusing on lasers and advanced skincare treatments. She has been in laser tattoo removal for several years now. She loves tattoos as they tell stories of what people have been through. Sometimes they are stories that people don't want to tell anymore or they want to add to those stories. She's here to help with that and help her clients feel good about themselves and the artwork on their bodies.

She partners with local nonprofit organizations pro-bono removing branding tattoos from human trafficking survivors. She is also a medical staff volunteer with the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps, providing crisis care and health and safety efforts to the community. She is an elected member of The American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. In 2023, she was the recipient of FILAM CAGs Emerging Women Entrepreneurs & Professionals Excellence Award. 

She lives the coastal life by the bay with her husband Josh, their children Logan, Bronwyn, and Sebastian, and their dog, Chloe.
